The official death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria continues to rise now

at at least 12,000 people.

Imperial St. Jason Bobin and Central Turkey says cold temperatures and snow are hampering

rescue efforts.

The temperatures in the quake affected parts of Turkey remain in the 20s and 30s as search

and rescue teams attempt to extract more survivors from collapsed buildings.

Snow is forecast in the region through Thursday.

Drone footage from near the epicenter of the quake show entire city blocks reduced to rubble

and 10 shelter set up on the playing field of a soccer stadium.

The exact number of buildings that were damaged or destroyed is still being calculated, but

the Turkish government says more than 13 million people have been affected in Turkey alone.

Millions more were rattled by the massive quake in Syria.

Relief teams from Turkey and around the world are fanning out in the disaster zone that

Turkish officials say spans more than 280 square miles.

Ukrainian President Volomir Zelensky made a surprise address to British lawmakers in London

today as the UK offered to train Ukrainian pilots to fly NATO standard fighter jets.

And Paris Frank Lankford reports from Eastern Ukraine and the city of Krematorsk.

Zelensky arrived to a standing ovation.

In his speech, he highlighted Britain's early support in the war against Russia.

London has stood with Kiev since day one.
