Well, the polls have just closed here in this

first in the nation primary. School moderator, former town moderator, Bill

Klein says this particular site a gymnasium that is joint high school and middle school

gymnasium here in Bedford says this site has been busy all day says it

doesn't look like a lot of Biden

ridants in this particular location based on ballots inspected so far.

We're also told this site had huge number of undeclared voters coming to

this precinct. A few minutes ago says about five to

six thousand of those majority of those selected were Republican ballots and

we'll get more on that later in the evening and And PR Sarah McCammon reports,

all eyes are on the GOP race,

which is down to just two major candidates.

It's been eight days since former President Donald Trump swept the Iowa

caucuses, prompting a wave of withdrawals from his Republican rivals, including

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Former United Nations Ambassador Nicky Haley has been trying to

make the case that she represents an alternative to either Trump or the

Democratic front-runner President Joe Biden, but she's trailing Trump in the polls.

Haley's campaign released a memo earlier in the day downplaying New Hampshire's importance

and looking ahead to upcoming primaries including her home state of South Carolina next month.
