Actor and producer Alec Baldwin faces criminal charges in the shooting death of cinematographer

Helena Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust.

And Pierre's Mandelite Elbaco reports the production's armor was also charged.

Alec Baldwin and armorer Hanukutieros read each face two counts of involuntary manslaughter,

one of them punishable by five years in jail.

In 2021, it was Baldwin who was holding a gun pointed at the camera where Helena Hutchins

and director Joel Suza were standing when they were shot.

Baldwin, the film's lead actor and producer, maintains he shouldn't be criminally responsible

for being handed a loaded weapon.

The New Mexico District Attorney's Office said in a statement that the evidence shows

a pattern of criminal disregard for safety on the film set.

Assistant director David Hall signed a plea deal for his charge of negligent use of a deadly

weapon.

The prosecutors are asking the court to give him a suspended sentence and probation.

Media magnet Rupert Murdock is scheduled to answer questions today under oath in a $1.6

billion defamation suit against Fox News and parent company Fox Corp.

the 2020 election aired by the network.
