Actor Alec Baldwin is being charged with involuntary manslaughter for the shooting

death of cinematographer Helena Hutchins during the filming of the movie Rust in 2021.

A New Mexico prosecutor also announced charges today against Hannah Gutierrez, who was in

charge of supervising weapons on the set, and assistant director David Halls, who handed

Baldwin the revolver that the actor was rehearsing with when it fired a live-round, fatally

striking Hutchins and wounding the director Joel Susa.

The district attorney's office is Hall assigned and agreement to plead guilty to negligent

use of a deadly weapon.

Baldwin maintains he is not criminally responsible for Hutchins' death.

President Biden gets an up close look today at damage from recent storms responsible for

at least 20 deaths in California since late December.

Biden will spend the day in Northern California.

White House Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre says the trip will focus on Santa Clara and

Santa Cruz counties, both located south of San Francisco.

During these stops, the president will meet with first responders, state and local officials,

and communities impacted by the devastation, survey recovery efforts, and assess what

additional federal support is needed.

Jean-Pierre says Biden will be joined by California Governor Gavin Newsom among others on the

tour, the president signed a federal disaster declaration over the weekend.
