0:16.2	Let's start with the reflections.
0:18.0	We just finished our 47th book of the Bible, which is our eighth book of the New Testament
0:22.2	and we're currently working our way through two others.
0:24.4	So let's get the 30,000th view on where we are in the chronological timeline of the
0:28.0	Bible's overall meta-narrative.
0:30.4	The Bible is one unified story.
0:32.2	In Genesis, God sets out to build a relationship with one particular family, but things go terribly
0:36.8	wrong when they fracture the relationship through sin.
0:39.0	But their sin doesn't surprise God.
0:41.2	He already had a plan in place to restore this relationship even before it was broken,
0:45.6	and he continues working out that plan immediately, undeterred and unhindered by their
0:50.1	rebellion.
0:51.2	He sets apart Abraham to be the patriarch of the family he calls the Israelites.
