0:42.5	That means Halloween for those of you who may not be familiar with that term.
0:45.3	And I asked my father for a sign.
0:47.7	I asked for something specific.
0:49.6	When I was a little girl,
0:53.5	my father would play guitar and sing me a song about shoes.
0:56.4	It was my favorite that he sang to me.
1:04.2	It was our connection when I was a child. I asked him to send me a sign that I would be okay in these uncertain times. anxiety sucks. I asked for red shoes. I went to support a friend in an open mic night, not my usual
1:15.7	outing or atmosphere. There was a young man with a shiny red guitar. It was candy apple red.
1:22.9	Someone at the table said, oh, look, that guitar reminds me of Dorothy's red shoes. Not only was this a guitar,
1:30.6	my father's instrument and solace in this world, it was associated with red shoes. I just knew
1:37.7	my daddy was reassuring me. I hope this brought a smile to your face as it really did to mine,
1:43.8	and I wanted to share.
