1:13.7	this new edition of this fabulous book that Deb and Joel and I have read for years,
1:18.8	can you tell us how you moved from a career in design into this world of intuition?
1:25.8	Yeah, well, actually, it does make some sense.
1:29.7	Because I think working with design, you have to look at patterns and look at also how,
1:39.4	like inner structures, inner blueprints of something and how that materializes out in a kind of
1:46.5	logical way into form. Like in graphic design, which I did a lot of, you're symbolizing a company
1:54.4	or a person's work with a symbol or a typeface, you know, that maybe it's a humorous typeface or a serious typeface.
2:04.8	But, you know, you want that feeling state to match what is being represented.
2:11.1	And so there's a lot of intuition training in working with design and what they now call
2:17.4	design thinking,
2:18.3	which is problem solving in this more holistic way.
2:23.3	And so, you know, I grew up largely in the Midwest
2:28.3	and, you know, being an intuitive was not a thing.
