So we're talking today about your book Depraved Obsession, about the, can we call him a serial killer?

I think that we could because, you know, I wanted the same thing.

I think if you look at a technical definition, I think they say three or more victims over a period of time in different locations, something like that.

The fact that Ron Bailey, the killer, actually in 1977, I believe it was, actually

strangled one of his victims to the point where he thought he was dead and threw him in the bushes.

So the fact that he killed two more, I would say, yeah, definitely a serial killer. And there's

always the question, are there more victims out there? And in this case, it's a fair question.

You outline in the book the opportunities that he had, both in Michigan and in Florida,

to attack and assault and kill young men, young boys. It would not surprise me to learn

that he has additional victims. Well, there's always been that suspicion. As a matter of fact,

I spoke with Wayne County retired circuit court, chief judge, and he told me that there was some suspicion that he might

have been responsible for as many as 12 between here and Florida. Now where he got that information,

I don't know, but obviously he's a very reputable source. And so I've often wondered if there is. In fact,

Dr. Harley Stock, who was the state's prosecution expert witness in the Bailey trial, testified

that he had received a phone call from the Sylvania Police Department. And they had an

unidentified victim down
