It's so interesting. Some people hate it. Some people love it. And that is being challenged, not in a way that's like threatening, just like mentally a challenge a little bit like

wow i hadn't thought about it that way some people don't like that it's like they just want to

hear whatever they thought before affirmed over and over and over but there's something wonderful

about growing up and that takes friends to say hey you haven't maybe it's the way you haven't thought

about it i think it's good we actually want our show to be kind of challenging, you know, not in your face way, but just to know, hey,

maybe God has something bigger and better in store for us. There's actually a scripture,

it's in the Old Testament, in Proverbs, and it says that as iron sharpens iron, so does one friend

sharpen another. And so when iron sharpens iron, so does one friend sharpen another.

And so when iron sharpens iron, by the way, if you put iron things together, sparks fly.

Well, sometimes it sparks fly. And that can be a good thing. But I just, I want to learn.

So I actually like having people around me that say things like, wow, I haven't thought about

that that way.

So interesting to watch reactions to new ideas, I've heard over and over, and I never intended to do this.

By the way, this is just interesting to me about humans.

When I wrote the book, Unoffendable, it came out earlier this year, I didn't know it would slap people in the face.

And that's... That's the reaction. Some woman called it aggravating. In the nicest way, she said, Brandt's

aggravating book. Several people I'd send it to, Mike Dunahey from 10th Avenue North said it's a

gospel bomb. And if you like looking down on other people, you won like this and somebody else says like a stick of dynamite

and all this can be bad or good depending on your perspective but it's so interesting whenever you talk

about forgiveness like really forgiving like people say oh yeah of course we're supposed to give

forgive people for a christian oh like now no no I'm supposed to wait a few weeks, right?

...
