Gene and cohost Tim Swartz feature explorer and researcher Hercules Invictus, author of two e-books on Kindle Olympian Ice and The Antediluvial Scrolls and contributor to such books as: Alien Artifacts, Mimics — The Others Among Us, and Weird Time — Exploring the Mysteries of Time and Space. Hercules is a Lemnian Greek, a proud descendant of Argonauts and Amazons. Couple that with Hercules' knowledge of the ancient gods and their legends that may offer some evidence of non-human interactions in ancient times. 0:58.4	Hercules, welcome back to the show. Thank you very much. I'm honored to be here.
1:04.0	Now, you have been involved in studying the unusual for a while. How did you get first interested in it?
1:15.6	Well, I'm Greek or Greek American would be more accurate. And the culture in Greece was pretty primitive compared to America.
1:21.6	So when we used to go there during the summers, there was no television.
1:25.6	You had to go somewhere to a well to get your water
1:30.0	and walk it back and so forth. And the people pretty much dressed as they did in the middle
1:34.9	ages, not in Athens or the cities, but out in the rural areas. And they held a lot of beliefs,
1:41.1	including beliefs in the invisible world. So you had like the elemental
1:47.0	folklore type of creatures like Kalikanzari, which are a type of goblin. You had angels,
1:53.6	you had demons. There were gypsies still in covered wagons back then with their horses and
1:59.2	there was all sorts of folklore around the Greek.
2:01.7	And a lot of the habits and traditions that were upheld are pretty ancient if you research
2:07.7	them, the jumping over the bonfires at certain times of the year.
2:12.3	They had staying indoors so you don't get beat up by saders.
2:16.0	They had all sorts of things like that.
