Paris a few days ago, and people have been talking about it all through the weekend, understandably.

One thing, and this is going to, you know, some people can hear this and think I'm saying

that Paris isn't as big a deal as it is.

I'm not.

It's a huge deal.

It's a huge news story.

We're grieved for the people who lost lives and families that are affected.

There was an incident in Kenya that happened not that long ago.

It was several months ago, and it was a Christian college.

And I think the death toll was higher, if I'm not mistaken.

And what was interesting to me was Facebook didn't give us a chance to put up Kenya flags.

Like they have this default button you can hit to put it over your profile picture.

And again, I'm not saying it's bad to put the France flag over your profile picture at all. But I do think it's interesting how certain people

decide this is big, new story, this isn't as big. And I'm not sure why the Christian college thing

wasn't as big a deal. I mean, I got my theories as to why. There's so much that

happens, and I just say this to say, there's so much that happens around the world that we're not

aware of, and then, bam, there's a big story, and we all talk about it. I would recommend anybody

who's a younger person than me, I'd say, make sure you read widely so that you know what's going on.

The things that have happened to believers, for example, in Syria, in Iraq are amazing.

It's genocidal, but it doesn't get the same play in the news.
