I.B. Nation. Welcome back to another edition of the Irish Breakdown podcast. It is Monday,

January 27th. The offseason is kind of officially here started now, Trevor. We've gotten through

the portal window. We've gotten through the season. We're now a week past the national

championship game, which Notre Dame played in and lost Ohio State

to cap off what was just an outstanding 2024 season.

It didn't end the way that I know that we, and I'm sure Notre Dame would have liked to have ended,

but it was a heck of a, heck of a season for Notre Dame, and now we're in the offseason,

and boy, what an off season it has been so far

I'm sorry I'll try to be better on catching those coughs but um they just got they're coming

a little bit more just suddenly now so my apologies but you, it's been a pretty wild offseason, Trevor.

We're going to have a lot to talk about.

Obviously, Notre Dame's had some portal losses since we last got together that we've had some,

you know, Chad Bowden left, which we'll talk about today.

Obviously, Notre Dame is still in search of a defensive coordinator. We believe we know who that's going to be. So we'll talk about today. Obviously, Notre Dame is still in search of a defensive coordinator.

recruiting weekend this past weekend. Things went very well. I had an intel piece on that

yesterday on the message board. So a lot of good stuff from that, some very talented players on

campus this weekend. So we'll do that.

So what, but I, but I wanted to kind of also go over what the offseason is going to look like.

So, um, starting next Monday, we're going to start sort of our, our normal routine. And it'll

kind of start this week, but with everything that kind of happened, you know, this is kind of where it's going to go and some of this actually is drive you and i've talked about
