All right, Brian, sticking with the theme of replacements for the Notre Dame team in the offseason.

And this one, not an on-the-field coach, right, not a defensive coordinator,

but obviously by now everybody knows that Chad Bowden, Notre Dame's general manager,

oversaw recruiting, a handful of of other jobs made his way out to

USC, and that was announced last Friday, this past Friday. So it's another thing that Marcus Freeman and his

staff, I mean, 1A, 1B, defensive coordinator, general manager, director of recruiting, those both need

replaced. And you found that out really in the span of like three, four days.

So the offseason job for Marcus Freeman just got a little bit more steep.

And with this guy, you know, you talk about Chad Bowden.

I'm in the same boat as you, man.

I'm not somebody that the second they decide to leave Notre Dame slander the specific job that they did.

Now, I'm not the biggest fan of how he left.

Yes. Or that he was looking around each of the last two off seasons. Right. Michigan last year.

You know, I don't love that either. Yeah. Yeah. That's something that I'm not a fan of. But there is

something to be said about when he was here and when he was doing his job, he brought in good talent.

You know what I'm saying? I mean, guys like Kingston and Bryce Young and all the CJ Carr, like those all those guys came in while he was in South Bend, right?

I give Tommy Reese the credit for CJ Carr, though, by the way. That was all Tommy Reese.

But your point, oh, however, I mean, you look at all the freshman and sophomores playing for

Notre Dame this year, all the transfer guys that impacted Notre Dame in the last two years.

Those were all guys that were brought in under Marcus Freeman and Chad Bowden's leadership.

And we need to be able to say, look, God did a great job.

As a recruiter, he did a great job while also saying, like, here's where I'm at with Chad Bowden.
