So Trevor, part three of today's show is we're going to dive into a look at the Ohio State Buckeyes.

We always do this in the first show that we do. We talk about what's a stake for

nerd name, and then we take a dive into the opponent. Now, we did that for the last three opponents.

We did that in our regular season, and we's sort of a get-to-know-your-opponent type of standpoint.

I don't think we're going to have to be, as people I don't think are going to be as upset.

Trevor, I don't think about when we praise this team because I think most of Notre Dame

fans know that this team is actually really good and they're going to be ready for it. So I'm ready to dive into it, man. I think this is going to be

fun and we're going to kind of kick things off with a look at the Buckeyes and how they got here.

You know, Trevor, I'm just going to kind of quickly introduce them and I'll let you go through

the schedule because you did an article like this of how they got here article at the front page at Irish Breakdown.com so we can kind of go through

their season. But, you know, when we talk about preseason, Trevor, this is one of the teams

that people expected to be here. There's no surprise. There's no, oh, wow, Ohio State's playing

for the national championship. I didn't see that coming. I mean, they were number two in the

country this year in both preseason polls. It should be pointed out that the team that was

ranked number one, Notre Dame beat, the team that was ranked number three and four, Ohio State

beat, to get here. Notre Dame was seven. So everybody expected Notre Dame to be in the playoff and to win a game.

But beyond that, not sure.

This is a team that everybody thought was,

which means from the moment the season kicked off against Akron,

the expectation has been beat Michigan,

get to the national championship game.

That was the expectation.
