So Trevor, it was a very interesting couple days. Obviously this past weekend, Notre Dame, or this past week,

Notre Dame got a big win on Thursday over the old Penn State Nettley Lions.

Friday, we got to relax, watch the Texas Ohio State game, and then on Saturday, a flurry of portal additions happens,

which we were prepared for. Only one of those caught me by surprise this last week.

We knew they were all going to happen, but one of them was a bit of a surprise. We'll talk about it.

But Notre Dame added four new portal players to their

team this past week. And we're going to talk about those here a little bit. We're going to dive

into just, you know, why they're at Notre Dame, why did Notre Dame go after these players,

what was the reason for targeting them? Notre Dame already had four portal players committed.

They had Malachi Fields and Will Pauling,

a receiver from Virginia, Wisconsin, respectively. They picked up tight-end tie Washington from Arkansas,

and of course landed Devante Smith, a nickelback from Alabama. This past week, Notre Dame

added two defensive tackles, which they've been targeting, and Jared Dawson from Louisville.

They also added Elijah Hughes from USC.

They added Jalen Stroman, a safety from Virginia Tech, and then a place kicker, Noah Burnett.

So what we're going to do is we're going to kind of go through these four players,

talk about why they were targeted, what the need was, and then we'll break down these players and how they fit into

the Notre Dame system before we get to our super chats. And then the other thing is, we are going

to have a more detailed breakdown on the board at some point. Time I'm going to break after the

season is over. I'm not going to have time to dive into film and put a film breakdown together. But when we get into the off season, I do plan on

putting some some breakdowns together of the non-kicker. I'm not doing a film breakdown of

a kicker. Sorry, Vince. But I will put some film breakdowns of the other portal players. And we'll do
