writer for Cincinnati. And there are just a few narratives to unwind here with Notre Dame

in Cincinnati. I don't, Justin, I don't know which one do you want to start with.

You know, I mean, the transfer of Michael Young receiver, obviously, probably the biggest.

But what, when we're unspooling all the connections between Notre Dame and Cincinnati,

are you feel like the Brian Kelly one is most applicable to saturday or is it more marcus freeman i i have

strong opinions on that but i'm curious how you see that uh from a fan perspective

whether they will admit it or not the the brian kelly thing is still a big thing and like there's

some people that are still mad about the way he left. There's some people that just, you know, now remember fondly,

like kind of, I guess, the first golden age of Cincinnati football and Luke Vickles now instituted

the second one. But he just, I mean, Brian Kelly's influence on Cincinnati football was massive, and it's,

it's probably not what it is today under Luke Vickle, if not for Brian Kelly's three seasons

there.

So for good or for ill, like, fans care about beating Brian Kelly, whether they still harbor any

anger towards him or not.

But, like, that doesn't, you know, none of these players care at all.

They were in fourth grade when Brian Kelly coached at Cincinnati.

So it definitely in terms of on-field impact, I do think Marcus Freeman being at Notre Dame and even, you know, Mike Mickens, too, because they, especially

on defense, they recruited a lot of those guys. They obviously coached them. So I think the emotional
