Brian, let's talk about Q4 for Notre Dame here on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to by our friends over at

Vanduel and this is the quarter where they have the opportunity to take everything home.

Their mantra this entire season, all offseason has been leave no doubt, leave no doubt.

This is the quarter that you can do that.

This is the quarter that you can go out and show it's like, okay, let's just play out this hypothetical.

They beat BYU on the road.

They handle business against Navy. They beat Miami in a close game in South Bend. Notre Dame is undefeated. They're ranked inside of the top four in the country. All they have to do is win out, but do it convincingly because now we're talking about seating. Two of these three teams, I don't think have a shot to just beat Notre Dame if they don't play well.

But this is going to be a very interesting quarter. You have a rivalry game in this quarter. You play SMU in this

quarter, which is by far the most difficult senior day opponent

that they have faced under Marcus Freeman. In forever. Yeah. I mean, like, I honestly can't

remember the last time a good team came to Notre Dame Stadium on, on senior day. Yes. This is,

above all else, this is the quarter where you can go out and prove your

season long mantra of leave no doubt. You have to be able to do that in this quarter if you're

Notre Dame. And talking about Notre Dame schedule in this quarter, they're going to need some of these

teams to be a little bit better than what even Fanduel on this graphic is expecting them to be one of them I just

flat out I don't really have a whole lot of faith in and that's Boston college but Syracuse I

think SMU is going to be better than an eight and a half over under wind total that's going to be

very interesting to see how that plays out so I I one of things, and this is the ludeless emoji's fault, Lou got me into,

he would point out these things of like trends and this happened then and if it happens again.

And there'd be things like he, I think he picked like Notre Dame to lose to Texas in 2016, 2016 because he's like they've beaten texas so many times in a row it just it doesn't happen that you win another one and then they went out and lost to texas it was really fascinating like and every time he would point this out like what he said this is why it's going to happen would like almost always end the way that loose it was fascinating watching his brain work in so many different ways.
