You have your toughest matchup this quarter against Miami. Like I said,

I'm a big believer in themes. And the theme for this quarter for Notre Dame in my eyes is this is where

you make your playoff resume. It happens right here. This is when you find out who Notre Dame is.

This is when you find out who Notre Dame is. This is when you find out, is this really, are they a contender or a pretender? That's what you find out in this quarter.

I mean, it really is as simple as that, Treb, because you could make a case. Now, I'm not sure that I would buy this, but I think you can make a case that the three

best teams on your schedule in the 2020 five, six season are these three teams.

Agreed completely.

They give you multiple different challenges every single week. Navy, it's self-explanatory. You're running the triple option. We'll dive into them a little bit more. But they're also going to be running the triple option that has the potential to be more of the old-school triple option, what they ran before Blake Horbath came in with Jackson Woodson stepping in a quarter.

Yes, he's much more of a running. He's more Malcolm Perry than he is. Yes. Blake Horbath. Yes, without a doubt. So it could be a little bit different. You get BYU, tough road environment, the hardest road game you'll face all year. You get Bear Bachmire. Maybe the most physical team you're going to play all year. Yep. Yep. And then the skilled talent with the hurricanes. Yeah. I mean, look, Trev, when you look at this schedule, this is also three of the four best, three of the best coach teams that you're going to play too. You know, like, I wouldn't have said that about Miami in 2024, but that's where the, the, the, the offseason changes on defense for Miami were made. They were huge last year. They, they out coached not played Notre Dame last year. That was not a fluky game. Now, it was a fluky game in that Notre Dame didn't play their typical game, but it wasn't fluky. Like, it's not like they had blown plays. And matter of fact,

the blown assignments in that game were from Miami, not covering Eli Rairden and letting him

down the field. Their defense was coached very differently under Corey Heatherman than it was

under Lance Giddery. BYU is one of the toughest, most disciplined, well-coached teams in all of college football.

Now, they have to replace their defensive coordinator who left for Michigan.

That's a loss.

But they stayed in house.

Aaron Roberts is a guy that when Jared Parker left was on my list of guys I'd look at.

I like their scheme offensively.

I really do.

And he did a, I mean, they did a heck of a job last year with a true freshman

quarterback that was thrust into a tough situation with their starter getting

suspended over the summer.
