I know you're always ready for a mailbag. You're not always always. I don't think anybody's ever's as fired up for mailbag as Vince gets for mailbags, but I know you like some mailbacks too. So let's start at the top and go here. Coleman Smith, 85, 84. Appreciate you, Coleman. with taking only two linebackers in the class,

what are the numbers like for 27?

Three. I mean, you got to remember, this is primarily a two linebacker defense. Now, this team will do more four, three when they play 12 personnel. We've seen that a lot. But this is primarily the base defense of two linebacker defense. So you don't need to

take three, four linebackers a year. But I do think when you look at, you know, Drake Bowen's

getting close to being the NFL. We'll see what Kingston's recovery looks like. Jane Osbury is

going to be a senior next year. I think three is ideal, especially if the third, if one of the three, I should say, is a guy that

could maybe do some other things, maybe can grow into a defensive end, could be a sub-package guy,

bring some versatility. So I think three is going to be more of the number for next year.

I'm good with that. Hopefully one of them is a swing player that can play that overhang spot next year. It's, man, it's a hard spot to play. Another one from Coleman Smith. Do we have a legit chance to land two of three of Ritten, Epps, and Roman? I think he means Witton. He's talking about Jason Witton's kid. I honestly don't know where things.

Brian, you might have a better I sense there.

Witten it for a while there this summer. I mean, I was being told that Notre Dame's top school. And then all of a sudden he's doing interviews and he's not even mentioning Notre Dame. And then he drops a top 10 recently and Notre Dame is on there. So I think they're still in the game, but I don't feel as good about where things stand now as I did.

And the reality is if you sign two of those guys and you're going to have four linebackers in this class. And unless you think that Taven Epps maybe is going to be an edge player, which is possible, he's 64, 225. You may view him as an edge player. I don't know that you're going to get two of those three. But I do think you've got a shot to get one of them. Because they're in a decent place with Taveneps. I don't think they're the leader, but they're in that top five, six. And then I don't have a clue how to pronounce Roman's last name, but I think they're having a legitimate shot with him.

I think Witton's the guy that they would probably have at the top of the board,

but I just think it depends on if you think one of those three,

one of those three guys can play,

like Brown's talking about can be like that maybe grow into a

defensive end. I think that's the only, the only option that you're going to have. I think you get one of those three guys, and I think you'll feel pretty good about this lineback class because they've already got Ellis McGaskin, who I love as a player. He's just small. Yeah, and you've got Amari Irvin who again love, love him as a player. He's just small.

It's just short, I should say.

Those are two good football players.
