So let's get into part two of today's show, Sean.

And we're going to look at the offense and defense and talk about are those side

of the balls, have they closed the gap?

If they have, can that continue with certain changes?

And then we'll go kind of position by position and say, okay, what are the areas specifically where

Notre Dame has closed the gap? Is that gap going to remain that way? Or, I mean, has that narrowing

going to remain? Because there's the reality. If we can look and say, well, they closed the gap here

because they had this happen. But but then, okay, that guy's gone. And now you look at it.

I don't know if that's going to continue now that that guy's gone.

That's not closing the gap.

That just means you kind of struck goal a little bit at that position for a year or two.

That's the difference between saying that Noreen closed the gap between,

running back because they have Jeremiah Love.

Well, that just means you got that one great player. The reason that we say no name is closed the gap, not just because this particular year they happen to have one of the best, it's because you look at it and you feel

like this is going to continue for the foreseeable future because they've been able to string

classes in a row. And you think, dude, I got 4,000 yard rushers on their roster right now, you know,

I mean, if they had to be the guy. And that doesn't even include Gibran Payne and Nolan James who's coming in.

So that's kind of how we look at it, Sean.

Is it closed?
