It is Thursday, September 11th. And before we start today's show, I feel like the memory of today has been a little bit overshadowed by some of the other evil that's been happening in our world.

0:37.2

Evils that have been happening in our world the last few days. But I always try to

0:41.2

remember to start today off with just a reminder of people of, of kind of what this day represents,

0:51.2

what this day means, especially for people of an older generation like myself

0:55.0

who, uh, you know, who were a little bit more grown for that period of time. And,

0:59.0

and it's, uh, remembering what we went through as a country. But I also think about what we were

1:03.7

like the day after 9-11, when we were as unified as we were. And there was a feeling of,

1:55.6

that day, the firefighters who ran towards danger while everybody else was running away.

2:00.3

They ran to the police

2:02.5

officers that saw it and ran to it, they have a level of courage that someone like me will

2:07.0

never understand. And it is greatly appreciated and we will never forget their sacrifice and all

2:13.3

of the other citizens who just were going to work that day and lost their lives simply because

2:18.7

they were Americans and didn't believe in something that somebody else believed in.

2:21.9

And then you see how that's now so much more prominent in our country, which is sad.

2:26.5

And Trevor, something you and I were talking about before we got this show started.
