We have to take a look at this unit and what they have to do in order to do their part

in getting a win on Saturday night.

First sample size of Chris Asch's debut against Miami wasn't great.

And there's a lot of things that they're going to have to get

corrected. Now, kind of comes into the bright spot of having a buy week. You have a little bit of

extra time to get some things adjusted, figure out what your identity is on defense. But at the end of

the day, Brian, when you look at this unit, the first thing that they're going to have to do,

honestly, some of it a little bit

schematic, but they just have to be more aggressive overall.

Yeah, and this includes so many things, Trevor.

We were talking about this, like, it's almost kind of like there was really only kind of two really big keys that we really wanted to harp on.

And this whole notion of being aggressive is be more aggressive as a big part of it. And

this is so all-encompassing to what they're trying to accomplish. It's,

it's be more aggressive in how you play as players, you know, attack more, fire off the ball, play with more urgency, attack the

football more. And you say, well, you know, some of it's schematic. And it's like, you look at a

player like a Don Schuller, who is one of the more aggressive players they have, just kind of

waiting on a ball and not going to get the ball, you know, just little things like that. And I think

that, you know, Drake Bowen watching him play linebacker and you're just like, this isn't Drake Bowen. Like, I don't know what this is, but this isn't Drake Bowen. And you start to see enough of that and you start to realize, okay, I think this is what they're kind of being taught to do. And it's almost like some of the aggressiveness was coached out of them in preparation for that game.

It was so into, you know, thinking man's game and be here and be there and fit off this and fit off that and react to this and react to that.

That it's almost like they just forgot to go play.
