Notre Dame had, do you think we would have beat Ohio State in the title game?

We got to ask this question the other day in a different way,

as a different receiver.

And my answer continues to be no because they still wouldn't have stopped Ohio State.

Like we have to accept the fact as Notre Dame fans that Ohio State called off the dogs offensively in that game.

They were up 31 to 7.

And the Notre Dame receivers that were playing against Ohio State were getting open.

Chris Mitchell was open several times.

Eli Raiden was open. Jayton Grados is getting open. They either weren open several times. Eli Rairden was open. Jayden,

Graydon was getting open. They either weren't protecting Riley. He had some misses. They had some

mental mistakes in the run game. They shot themselves in the foot. And it didn't matter who else

was a receiver. And they could not stop Ohio State's offense. Could not stop them.

And so now you could have said maybe the outcome would have been closer

and maybe Notre Dame doesn't fall behind 31 to 7,

but I don't know who on offense you can add to say that team would have all of a sudden

beat Ohio State.
