I am really excited to get into this next conversation because

this sophomore class in Notre Dame has me really fired up. And we're going to talk about it.

And so when we're doing our breakdowns of the team and you're looking at the different topics

we want to discuss and

star power and breakout players and step up time and role players in depth and every time

trev and i are having these conversations there's always this focus on the sophomore class and the

sophomore class is just going to kind of litter the depth chart this year and started thinking about it.

And as we've discussed it, it's like, you know, this isn't necessarily a good thing.

I mean, it's not, it's not ideal to have a team that has so driven by sophomores and

redshirt freshmen.

And this, for the purpose of this conversation, we're not, we're talking about basically

the 2024 class, not red shirt sophomores and those types. I mean, we're talking about basically the 2024 class, not red shirt sophomores and those

type. I mean, we're talking true second year players in college, the sophomores, the true

sophomores of the redshirt freshmen. And you started looking at it and you start realizing like,

one of the exciting things about this Notre Dame team is that it's such a talented team.

The issue, and I think it's a legitimate to call it an issue or the concern, is that a lot of

that high level talent are true sophomores, which means this Notre Dame team is going to be

more reliant on very young

players.

And in some cases, they're experienced in some cases they're not at very important positions

than what you normally see for a team competing for a championship.
