If any true freshman starts for Notre Dame the next two years with the talent on the roster

automatically makes him a special player, not just a dude?

Barring injury, yes.

I mean, I do think they're in a position where a guy doesn't have to necessarily be a dude

if there's maybe an earlier entry into the NFL than anticipated and

then an injury, which is exactly what thrust Anthony Napin, the starting lineup. Yeah, I mean,

I think we all expected Joe Alt to leave, but our thought at the time was, well, Joe's going to

leave and then Blake's going to transition back to left tackle, and he'll the left tackle in 2024 and then you know and but obviously Blake left as well and then you have the

injury to Charles Jagassall and just it was a several things that led to that in that case then

you know what was Anthony Knapp a good freshman for him yeah Yeah, he wasn't like a dude the way that, or a special player, the way that John A1 is talking about here, barring injury, I would tend to agree with you on that. I would tend to agree with you on that. Because even if you're like, well, what if you have a lot of losses? Well, they're going to go to the portal and find guys. so then if a guy is still starting over a portal guy, it means he's a pretty good football player as a true freshman.
