do you now think his likelihood of winning postseason accolades increases significantly?

Significantly, no.

Does it increase?

Yeah, I think so.

And by postseason accolades,

I more mean like All-American and stuff. But at the end of the day, I don't think him playing baseball was a thing that was going to be the roadblock to that. It was going to be the fact that

they're going to play for linebackers in a rotation that's going to keep all of their

numbers down from it from the

standpoint of all-American type of numbers.

So unless he's able to go out and get like 11, 12 tackles for loss and that's, and that's

the thing that we don't know that what we're going to see from this defense.

Like, for example, we look at like blitzing.

I think Notre Dame blitzed a lot in the last couple of years because that's what Al Golden liked to do. It's not something that, like,

that Marcus Freeman was demanding from Marcus Freeman, from Al Golden to do. There's a philosophy

he believes in structurally and coverage-wise that I think is very much in line with what they did. But the volume of blitzing, I think, was more of an Al Golden thing than it was a Marcus Freeman thing. That's not better, not worse. It's just he gave him the freedom to run the defense the way that he run to the defense. So what does that mean? Why does that matter? Well, it matters because I look at this defense and I say, maybe they don't blitz

as much next year. What does that mean for the linebackers production? Do they get more

tackles now? Because they can actually go to the ball as opposed to attacking a gap.

Does it mean that maybe they get more tackles for loss now because they're now flowing to the

ball. Because usually when you play a defense, it doesn't blitz as much,

you're going to do more things to ask your defensive line to sort of eat up blocks.

That doesn't mean too gaping because sometimes eating up blocks is slanting hard through gaps,
