Kevin Carter, it's a great day, seeing a linebacker Sincey commit to Notre Dame with both Ohio State and Michigan offering.

That being said, was this a guy they were chasing or did he just have offers from them?

I don't believe Ohio State was pursuing him heavily at any point.

And I don't know that Michigan was still recruiting him heavily because he didn't

express a lot of interest in them.

And they have some other guys on the board as well.

So I don't know.

I don't chalk this up as a win over Ohio State, Michigan.

He had offers from Tennessee, Penn State, Oregon, again, again, a press of offer list.

There was something these teams saw, but again, this is a kid that didn't really engage the recruiting process like other kids did.

And so some team just kind of moved on because of that.

So it's a big win.

It's a big get.

It's an important get.

But it's not one where I'm like,

suck it, Ohio State and Michigan.

Like that's,

it wasn't that kind of recruitment with those schools.

Fair.

Like if you get J-Man Osborne tomorrow,

that's a suck at Michigan moment because like they wanted them.

This one's not that.
