All right, gentlemen, let's talk some defense. And obviously this has been a hot topic.

A conversation has been, and it sounds like it's going to continue been a hot topic. A conversation has been,

and it sounds like it's going to continue being a hot topic. Look, at the end of the day,

the defense in minutes that mattered in this game held Purdue to 23 points. Now I use the term

held loosely because it was a frustrating journey to get there. But what we've seen is this

defense once again,

have a good performance in the third quarter.

That was one thing that I have kept my eye,

is over the course of the season so far,

and this pains me to say out loud,

and I hate that I'm saying it out loud,

but in three games, Notre Dame has given up 98 points on defense.

Only 10 of them have came in the third quarter,

which on one hand is like, okay,

halftime adjustments,

I guess today, if you can even call them halftime adjustments,

kind of suit you well,

but then also it begs the question,

what the heck is happening in the other three quarters?

So I know this is kind of a very broad question, but Brian, I'm going to kick it over to you,

and we'll just start talking defense and see where this conversation goes.

So just overall, I'm going to let Sean here talk a little bit, but just overall, here's a couple things I want to point out differently about this game.
