So let's dive right in. I'd end Benami. If you had first pick in the draft and need a quarterback, would you pick a quarterback with only one year starting experience? For example, Arch Manning, not sure I could do that myself.

Quarterback is risky to go off just potential, in my opinion.

It would just, there would be some factors into it.

And just without a whole lot of context, if it's close, I'd feel real nervous about taking a guy with one year of experience.

Like, we've seen a lot of busts with one year of starting experience.

Trey Lance, Dwayne Haskins, Mitch Trubisky, like, we've seen that a lot.

We've even seen a lot of guys who struggled for their whole careers and only

started for one year, have those issues. Mack Jones is another one that was a one year starter that

hasn't really done a whole lot in the NFL. We've seen some guys who kind of struggled their

whole career and then have that one great one final season and they get picked like Zach Wilson,

who was kind of an average quarterback until he had that

monster year during the COVID year and all of a sudden he gets strapped at number two overall.

So I'm just not a bit, but there are times when you do see guys that have played one year that

are successful. I prefer to have more of a proven commodity. The more you play, the more teams can find your weaknesses, which means you've got a counter and all the type of stuff. In today's game, though, it can be a little bit different, Trev, because now, like, you look at a guy like Arch Manning, for example, what if Texas plays for the national title last year? Then Arch is creeping up on like 20 career starts now. He's getting close to that. I mean,

he had what, two or three this year and we start 16 next year. I mean, that's, that's a little bit more than just a guy that played a 12-game regular season in a bowl game. Yeah. And there's a lot of high leverage situations in there. Plus, a guy like Arch played in some high-leveraged situations last off the bench, and he played against Ohio State.

You know, you played against Georgia in both games.

And so it's a little bit

different for him specifically, but in theory, I get real nervous about picking a guy that's

that's only played one year at all in the first round, much less number one.
