Let's kick things off with Black Iris, and this can be anything Notre Dame related.

Now, Chris got this in when we were thinking we were still going to be talking about quarterbacks,

but I want to go and get those in now, too, Treb, and dive into this.

Where does Texas Tech look to to find a competent QB1? Tech has Will Hammond is QB2, but he's recovering from an ACL.

They also have Kirk Francis, Lloyd Jones, and Stephen Cannon.

I mean, honestly, there's really only two options.

Option one is you work with the guys that you have on the roster until Will Hammond's back and hope that

hope that Brendan Sorosby can come back and be eligible.

That's the thing is he may want to return to the team, but the NCAA may have something

to say about whether or not he can play.

And the other option is prepare, take some of that money you're used for NIL and prepare for lawyers.

And here's the two ways they can go.

Number one is if the NCA tries to declare Brendan Sors being eligible, they can sue them.

You know, some grounds of how this isn't fair, blah, blah, blah, who knows.

The other option is, is they could say say they could try to go get a guy

out of the portal uh that doesn't it no longer exists and just basically try to get a kid hey man

all you got to do is you know and unenroll from your school enroll here and they can't stop you from

going in the portal in in reality And then there's the punishments.

Okay, well, if you do the whole, you know, they call it like, what do they call it like the, the secret portal? What's the name that people have given like the portal that's not really the portal thing for the spring? I forget what the name is, but like the phantom window or something like that. Yeah, something like that. And to say basically, the rules are like,

you have to pay a bunch of money, fines, your coach gets suspended for like up to half the year,

et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. They can either say, hey, we'll pay the fines and we're okay with

Joey McGuire being suspended because the reality is we all know what the people at ours breakdown know,
