Yeah, appreciate you, Raymond, very much, man.

I mean, I feel like if it's a legit Joe Moore award winning offensive line,

this team is going to be unbelievably good next year. And there's no reason they shouldn't be. I mean, you can blame injuries all you want, but the reality is, as we all said coming in the year, this team with all they had coming back should at least be a finalist. I don't even think they were a semi-finalist this year. You can blame injuries all you want, but Ashton, Craig played half the year,

and Billy Shrout didn't get hurt until game seven.

Like the inconsistency started before that.

There was never a game where they were worse than the opener when everybody was,

you know, that started fall camp was healthy.

So your two most experienced guys were your worst players in that game. I mean, Kirby Lambert and Southern Absher were not your problem against Miami. Agreed. Anthony Napp and Meal Black were. Emil Wagner were. So this unit underachieved and they've got to get it figured out. And if they can, this team is going to be absolutely special next year. Absolutely special. I really believe that. Now, again, there's some other things that have to fall in place, but that's my frustration with this whole process and what may or may not happen in the portal and all this other kind of

stuff and what Marcus Freeman may or may not do. The reality is, this team has a chance to be

special next year. And I just don't know if that

matters as much anymore. I mean, I generally don't know. I'm not saying it doesn't. I don't know.

You know, whether or not all these veterans come back, whether or not guys in a rotation come back,

it really comes down to is Notre Dame honest in their communication with those players

and do those players value the team success more than maxing out their revenue and paychecks?

Not that it's, you know, like, look, I get it.

You want to make your money.

I understand that.

But are you, you know, what are you willing to give up to be this?

And it's kind of challenging to get that message across when your head coach has not signed.
