Kenny Dillingham, Brent Key. The sell is easy. It's Brent Key. I'm easily selling that one. The other two are a little bit more challenging. Right now, as of today, 2026, June 1, I'm taking Jeff Brom. I'm buying Jeff Brom and I'm holding Kenny Dillingham. I'm selling Brent Key. but I've said before, Trev, I know you agree with me on this.

This is a really big year for Kenny Dillingham. Yeah. There's a lot I like about Kenny Dillingham. A lot I like. He seems genuine. He seems to care about his players. He's a good offensive mind. He's turned that program around really fast. He can recruit.

There's a lot of things about Killing, Dillingham that makes me, like, there aren't many coaches that I'm like, I got my eye on him in case Freeman ever leaves. I got my eye on that guy. Kenny Dillingham is on that list, but he's got a win this year to maintain that level. Because otherwise, all those other things are true, but maybe he's just not a great head coach. You know, he had that one great year in 2024. This year was a disappointing year for some reasons outside of his control.

Some reason was in this control. But, and I look back and say, well, you know, kind of Freeman had some of that in 22, 23, and 24.

His first three years is whatever. But, you know, I feel like this year is going to tell us the most about

about Kenny Dillingham and whether or not he's that kind of coach. Somebody asked, why is Brent Kea Hartzell?

Number one, I don't think he's a great head coach. I think they're a nice team. I think they've had a lot of

underachieving games. They don't finish well, in my opinion, against anybody decent. And he's a bit of a meat wad, to be honest with you. And I don't know that I'd enjoy covering him on a daily basis. And I don't think a meat wad is the kind of guy that's going to be great at Notre Dame. Like, I just, he's a good, tough, blue-collar guy that's at the perfect school for him.

I don't think there's a level above that for him.

I think Jeff Brom potentially could thrive at Notre Dame.

The recruiting piece concerns me.

The in-game decision-making at times is very problematic.

The last couple of years, his team has not been the most disciplined team the last couple years his team has not

been the most disciplined team the last couple years which also concerns me but offensive mind

wise you're like could you imagine jeff brougham with like noel grubs teddy gerard chan tc jaccar type of

guys like oh my goodness yeah but i also feel that way way about Kenny Dillingham if he can win this year.
