Another one here, Drake Bowen will lead the number one rush defense in all of the power core conferences, not including G5 or smaller conferences. I'll buy that as a possibility. I'll buy that. I mean, I think Drake Bowen will be the leader of the defense this year, whether or not he's their best player is up for debate. It could be Leonard Moore. It could be Kingston. It could be Tate Johnson. It could be Bubacar. I mean, there's a lot of debates on who

that could be. Right now, I'm obviously leaning towards Leonard Moore pretty strongly, but

he's the leader of the defense. I don't think there's any question about that. And I think

there's certainly a possibility they lead, they have the number one rush defense in the country.

I mean, they were pretty good last year, Treb. You and I would both agree on that.

They're going into year two of the Chris Ash defense.

They jumped from in 2024.

They were number 49 in rush defense.

And they were number, let's see here.

They were number 37 in yards allowed per attempt.

In 2025, in year one under Chris Ash, they jumped all the way up to number 11 in rush defense,

and they were very close to the next three teams ahead of them.

And then in yards per rush, they were 10th.

So they went from 30s and 40s to 10.

And then now you're going to year two and you've got almost all your best players back.

You only had one defensive player drafted last year. And he was a six-round draft pick.

Bubacar's back. Bryce is back. All your linebackers are back. Your entire secondaries back,

except for Devante Smith, who was injured

last year. You got two portal players, and you just signed the number one DB class in the country.
