Going into spring, your biggest depth concern is a quarterback, but after spring, it could be a different position.

Yeah, I'll buy that.

I think it'll probably still be quarterback, but you could make a case for running back, since there's a lot more injuries there that people are dealing with.

You could make a case that they're an injury away at safety from having to move somebody to safety.

You can maybe make a case there.

But at least now we know a little something about the quarterbacks.

We know what Blake Hebert can and can't do.

We've now seen Teddy Gerard.

I'm not Teddy Gerard.

Excuse me, Noah Grubbs and kind of what he can do and things like that.

So, yeah.

Yeah, talking about depth of the quarterback position, I talked about this last week. It's so weird because it's one of the very few positions on a football team in general that you don't want to have to go into your depth. You don't really want to have to with the offensive line unless it's like, hey, there's a guy that unless there's an injury that happened should have been the starter, but he's not. So, you know, for him to get an opportunity, but you never hope anybody gets hurt. But at quarterback, that's the one spot on the football team. I can confidently say I never want to see a backup. Like, I just, I mean, even if there's a younger talented guy, like even in 2024, I was never in a scenario, even down the stretch where it's like, man, I just wish there was some way C.J. Carr could play because Riley Leonard in the postseason was a big reason why they played for the national championship. So that's what's so weird about talking about death, because it's always going to be concerned. Like even last year when they had Kenny Minchie, a very experienced guy who C.J. beat out in the fall. like even if he fall, even if he would have stepped in, I don't know what that looks like.

So when I talk about depth concerns, this is just me.

I always remove quarterback from that conversation because it's just different.

It's a different piece to tackle than depth at tight end or depth at defensive tackle

or depth at safety. So that's that's what's

interesting about it so i because most most backups across the country are guys that have never

played so the depth concerns that notre dame has a quarterback is the same that texas has is the same

that ohmiss has is the same that ls u, is the same that Ole Miss has, is the same that
