It's almost like, yeah, they get pounded by Notre Dame and that'd be like sweet justice.

You make the playoff and get destroyed by Notre Dame.

But what I think would even be sweeter justice is you do this to blow up that series and you still suck.

You're still not sniffing the playoffs.

Like that would still, because in that regard, I think USC would count that as a win.

Hey, we still got to play Notre Dame and we made the college for all playoffs.

I think that they would, they would consider that a that a victory. Because that's all their goal is, Trevor, is to make the playoffs and get that payout from the playoffs. That's all they care about. They don't care about competing for a championship. They say they do. They don't. They just want to make the playoffs. And I think that'd be a win for them. So I'd rather them just suck. And you don't even get to play Notre Dame. You don't get the benefit of it because you don't make the playoffs. That's what I would rather have happened. Agreed. Agreed completely. I'd rather take that situation over like me feeling good about USC traveling up to South Bend to play. Because here's the thing. I think Notre Dame is going to get a buy. And so if Notre Dame and USC face each other in the playoffs, it would have to be in the quarterfinals. Like the home playoff game would be cool. I think Notre Dame gets a buy. So then it's USC gets what they want making the playoffs. And they get a home play any sort of playoff win to boot. And and then they play Notre Dame, like I don't want that scenario to play out.

And then per on three and 247, Notre Dame is the only transfer class inside the top 10

with less than 10 recruits.

Yet there will be Notre Dame's transfer class that will have the most impact in 2026.
