Let's dive into the blue gold game preview here, man.

0:21.1

And now obviously this is the 95th annual.

0:23.9

And one of the things that I love that Notre Dame is doing,

0:26.4

there's several programs across college football that are electing to go away from traditional formats

0:30.9

or some that are just doing away with it entirely.

0:33.7

And so for another year, we have the opportunity to see these guys.

0:37.0

And it's going to be the first time we've seen them in a game like setting since November 29th, the last year when they played Stanford on the road. So it's awesome. I know there's a lot of fans who this is their one and only opportunity to go see the boys play inside of Notre Dame Stadium. So before we get started into that, just wanted to put that out there. I'm happy that Notre Dame is one of the teams remaining to continue on their spring game,

0:58.0

and I'm excited to be up there with you on Saturday inside of that stadium because, man,

1:01.8

you guys know there's no better place to be on a Saturday when there's football going on

1:05.6

on that campus in South Bend.

1:07.6

So very excited.

1:09.1

Yeah.

1:09.5

And we're going to do a post-game show the spring game. We, we, uh, Trev's going to go to his dad's house instead of coming here because last time he came here, he tried to stage a coup at the beginning of the show. So, but no, in all serious, just Treb, it's going to be a lot of fun. And, you know, I think that's where we want to kick things off. Obviously, we're going to have a lot of fun talking about the NFL draft, but, you know, diving into the Notre Dame spring game is, is obviously priority numerous uno because that's, you know, that's the driver. And I'm, I'm thankful that Notre Dame is continuing this. I thought after last year's spring game there was a chance that that they weren't going to have one this year. And there hasn't been to talk about that. So I'm happy about that. I've said before I don't care about the format per se. I just care about them doing something, entertaining and giving the fans something to cheer about, watch, evaluate. You know, some fans, this this is the only it's like 10 to 12

2:03.0

bucks um you know um for a ticket well that sometimes that's all people are able to do you know and

2:11.8

and or it's like hey i you know falls tougher time for us so i think it's awesome you know be tens

2:17.1

of thousands of people there no tailgate for for IB, by the way. But very much looking forward to being able to see them perform. And, you know, again, if they want to do something different and not play four-quarter game, that's fine too. I really don't care. I just want to see the team compete and work out and put on a show for the fans. And I'm very glad that Notre Dame is doing that again this year. Very, very glad. Some of the particulars of the spring game before we dive into is kind of what we want to see. First and foremost, it streamed exclusively on Peacock. You can watch that coverage starts at 2 p.m. probably a little before for some sort of pregame or what you guys can do. I heard Sean Steyers talking about it last night. You can listen to the radio call on Sunny 101.5 FM where our Sean Steyers and Vince and Jesse will be doing kind of like the analysis there. Or if you watch it on Peacock, you can listen to Tony Simeone and Ian Book is on the call on

3:08.8

Peacock. So either one sounds like it's going to be a fun dynamic listening to Notre Dame spring game. Again, 2 p.m. Now, obviously, it's a spring game. Fandle doesn't have any spreads out for that. I know traditionally we talk about what the spreads are and what's looking like what, but obviously for a spring game there's not going to be any.

3:25.2

But it's going to be a solid one.

3:26.9

You got offense versus defense, something that makes a lot of sense because of the depth on both sides of the ball. It'd be really hard to draft individual teams given the state of, say, like the lineback room or the running back room, things like that. You know what's funny, Trev? It's usually the lines that you have a tough time with this.

3:43.5

Usually it's like, you know, we don't have enough offensive linemen.

3:45.7

We've got to have guys wearing green jerseys. This time it's like, dude, they could easily go like too deep on both lines. No problem with two teams. Now it's like, hey, we've only got three quarterbacks and one of them missed the jersey scrimmage.

3:56.2

We've only got two scholarship running backs.
