Following Notre Dame's 2713 win over Purdue.

And, I mean, Matt, we were walking back up to the press box.

To me, I mean, there was definitely some takeaways that I think are going to be packaged and Notre Dame can take moving forward.

But to me, it felt like the last game of the preseason for Notre Dame.

Because I do think, like, now the real stuff starts.

Yes.

I mean, if this was a normal Notre Dame season, I would agree with you.

The fact that they took care of business in this game the way they probably would have

and should have based on our preconceived notions of this team preseason, I can get behind

that.

But even then, I mean, Purdue gets the ball down seven after Notre Dame drops a touchdown,

gets sacked after starting with the ball at Purdue's 39-yard line

with the chance of the knockout blow. And I don't know if Purdue just wasn't good enough. They obviously

weren't, but how much of that was Neradame? I do think big picture takeaway. Purdue took away

Notre Dame's two best weapons, and Neradame still won by 14 points after winning their first two games by three points apiece. So, like, you have to come out of this feeling better about yourself if you're an Error dame. You have to feel better about yourself. Otherwise, there's going to be no way to get through this upcoming gauntlet of five games against five ranked opponents. It's going to be, or once ranked opponents. Sorry,
