All right, gentlemen, in part two of today's show here on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to by our friends over at Fanduil.

We're talking about Notre Dame's elite recruiting class that they brought in.

2026. It's National Signing Day.

Notre Dame brought in 17 offensive players, excuse me, 16 offensive players, 11 defensive players, 27 total.

And what we're going to do in this section of today's show is we are going to break them down and give them overall grades.

We have an overall grade for offense, an overall grade for defense, and then we have individual position group grades.

So on offense, we're going quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end offensive line.

And then on defense defense we're going

defensive line linebackers safeties and corners now just so you guys understand

what we're coming from on this grading scale obviously like normal it's a B

C D and F now A is elite college football playoff caliber best of the best

B it's outstanding.

Top 15 caliber and then C, we keep working our way down the line here. It's solid.

Borderline top 25 and then really after C we're kind of getting into this just isn't where it needs to be.

D is subpar. It's not good enough. And then F, in the words of the esteemed gentleman at the bottom

of the screen, is a disaster. And I'm willing to bet. I thought of a nicer way to say that, but I was like, if I ever give Notre Dame an F on something, it's a total disaster. So I just, I was like, yeah, let's do this. F is Happy Valley. And that can be our grading scale for this afternoon. But gentlemen, where we're going to start is on the offensive side of the football,

And you don't have an elite class without bringing in 16 high level offensive recruits.

And that's what this is.
