We're going over the defensive class at Notre Dame signed today.

And Brian, you mentioned something earlier.

One of the things that we love about this class is you basically have a starting all 22 on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

Now, not going to have any reserves in this defensive class, seeing that they signed just 11, but all 11 guys can be on the field at the same time. One of the things that we love about this class. But we're going to go through and we're going to grade them. And just as a quick refresher, grades are A through F. Spoiler alert, there's no F's.

There's no D's.

And so A's are just, you know, they're elite, top tier, college football playoff caliber.

B, you are, I mean, you are really, really good class.

I mean, it's outstanding.

It's top 15 caliber C, solid, borderline, top 25 caliber.

And so, Brian, when you looked at this defensive class overall, before we dive into the individual position groups, how did you grade out this overall defensive class? It's another A. I mean, it's, I don't know that I've ever given A on both sides of the ball. I don't know that I've ever done that. But it's hard not to.

Again, your defensive line class is up there with about anybody in the country. You have, in my opinion, the best secondary class in the country. You don't have a great linebacker class, but I don't know that anyone's going to have a great linebacker class because it just wasn't a great year nationally at linebacker. We've been talking about this for months.

And you talk about not having more than the starters,

but this class didn't necessarily need that.

I personally would have liked maybe one more D tackle in this class.

But, I mean, I think that's a bit of a nitpick.

I just look at the kind of group.
