We're going quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, offensive line, then give overall picture. And then on defense, we're talking coaching, D-line linebackers, D-Bs, kind of lump together in a group, and then the overall as well. And then special teams, it's more of the higher arching. So sticking with the same grading scale that we just had for grading out the quarters and all of that.

Brian, let's get this kicked off on the offensive side of the ball talking about grades.

So we're going to go, we're going to do coaching, quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, tight ends, O-line, and then overall.

Trev, do you want to do overall at the end or at the beginning?

Let's start off then with coaching, and coaching is all of it.

It's not, this isn't a Mike Denbrock grade.

I'm going B-plus on coaching.

And the reason why is pretty simple, Trev.

Was this offense always coached the way that it needed to be coached, whether it be a

position group, whether it be coordinated? No, it wasn't perfect. At the end of the day,

Notre Dame just set a record for most points in school, most points per game in modern school

history, which means post-World War II. The last time Notre Dame scored more points than this, I believe, was before Newt Rockney was even a coach. I think Newt Rockney was a player on the last Notre Dame team that scored this many points. If I remember correctly, I think it was 1912, correct? Correct. And I think that was when Newt Rockney was a player. I'm going to go look that up here
