All right, Brian, in the next part of today's show here on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to you by our friends over at Fanduil, we're giving out grades.

And we just wrapped up the offensive portion.

I'm very interested to see where we go here with the defensive grades because this is quite

literally a tale of two parts of the season.

I mean, if you would just show me, if you didn't tell me that these two, this defense,

this season wasn't all in one and you only showed me clips of the first three games and

then the final nine games, I would tell you that they're two different seasons. And I'd probably say, okay, well, new defensive coordinator, that was probably the first

three games, and then they got an entire season under their belt. And then the final nine games

were in the following season. The crazy part is, is it was all in the same. And so I'm very

interested to see where this conversation of grades go because

as you guys understand, we're talking about everything all encompassing. When we talked about

grades for the wide receivers, we weren't just grading Malachi Fields. We were talking about

the operation, the coaching staff, everything in between. So Brian, we'll do what we did with the

offense. We'll save the overall grade at the end,

and we'll start with the coaching on the defensive side of the ball.

And this is just everybody.

Like offense, we're not just grading Chris Ash.

We're not just grading Mike Denbrock.

How do you grade out this defensive coaching staff?

Give it a B-minus.

I would say the last nine game,

the last eight games you could argue was a football.
