Ah, Lord God, it is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power

Would you just let that last phrase soak in today in a fresh way in your life.

Nothing is too hard for God. And based on that truth, that reality, that our God is all

powerful, that he is able to do everything that he pleases. Nothing is too hard for him. I would just ask you,

what are you asking God to do in your life, in your family, in your church, or your work? What are you

asking God to do in your city or your country or among the nations that you know is impossible apart from God.

What are you asking God to do?

That just looking at a situation normally you would think there's no way.

But you are saying, God, I know you can do this.

And I'm guessing there are some of you who have been praying for things like this.

You've been praying for healing in your life or in someone else's life whom you love. And you've been praying for

somebody's salvation or somebody to come to faith in Jesus. And it hasn't happened. You've been

praying for a prodigal child or a parent who's turned away from God or just seems hard toward God.

And so you're asking for this. And if we're not careful when we ask for these things

and they don't happen in the way or the timing we desire, we can start to doubt the power of God.

And I just want to encourage us whether we are not praying for these things and need to be praying,

for things that are really hard, not impossible, or if we are not praying for these things and need to be praying for things that are really hard,

not impossible, or if we are praying like this for things in our lives, things in the world
