Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, and I will make a new covenant with the

dark, difficult time. Even that, we can just pray according to that to praise God for his grace

and his promises that sustain us and get us through dark, difficult times that promise us that

what we're experiencing in suffering

and even discipline for our sin when we trust in God is not the end of the story.

But the specific promise here is that God is going to make a new covenant with all who will

trust in him to be their husband in a much grander way than even the picture we see in the Old Testament,
