Last time around, we looked at the album, A Hard Day's Night, the third Beatles album from July

1964, and this is the second part of our deep dive look at this album. And when we left last

week, we were right at the end of a busy recording schedule at the end of February 1964,

when they are trying to get as many songs in the can as possible before filming begins for the movie on March the 2nd,

in 1964.

So that gives us the date of March the 1st where they're back in the studio trying to get some songs done.

And the last film soundtrack song that's recorded before shooting begins is, I'm happy just to dance with you.

That was written for George to give him a piece of the action, said John in 1980.

Yeah, and it's, you know, that's, is it formulaic is it is it the it's a little bit yeah it's a little bit

of a throwback to the you know i want to hold your hand i want to dance with you you know a little

bit formulaic i think paul admits that and he says, anyway, this one was just a straightaway, straight

co-write for George.

So they're quite dismissive.
