This is the third part of our look at Alan Klein.

And I guess we're wondering, what is the story so far?

Well, to bring people up to date, plucky New York City upstart,

Alan Klein has been playing the longest of long games.

And having finally secured a meeting with John and Yoko in January 1969 has managed to breach the Fab Wall to take over their business affairs with Lee and John Eastman on retainer as Apple's attorneys at law and also Paul McCartney's attorneys in there, but Alan wants all of this to be recognized by

a signed contract by all four Beatles, which leads us when we left off at the end of Part 2 at the

start of May, 1969, trying to pursue a certain Paul McCartney. But before we get there, we should probably go somewhere else.

It's what we do best. Well, it is because in the last part we kind of talked about how

Alan Klein and his amazing work at managing to secure the Beatles' freedom from NEMS for only twice

as much as they wanted to buy it for,

was also trying to arrange another business deal in the spring of 1969.

And this is where we're going to have to talk about the behemoth that is...
