This is the second part of our look at Alan Klein.

And in our first part, we managed to get all the way from his origins as a talented accountant, he said euphemistically,

through to getting an inn with the Beatles in January, after John Lennon had given an interview where he perhaps over-egged the pudding on how

bad the finances were, but certainly offered a gap in the Beatles' armour for Alan Klein to

strike. And the deal that's eventually set up is that they will meet Alan Klein and John Lennon and

Yoko Ono on the 27th of January at the Dorchester Hotel. And for better or for worse, it is,

we can now currently see the effects of this meeting through Peter Jackson's get back. We see

them going to the meeting and we see the aftermath of the meeting. And it's important. Everything kind of changes from this

meeting onwards. Yes, because Alan Klein will arrive and save the day. Well, it is remarkable.

You know, we said in the first part that hindsight is 2020 vision and

something that Get Back allowed us to do is to try and look at January 1969 when the

future hadn't been written yet. And it was very interesting to watch it from that point of

view. And obviously towards the end of the movie,

when Alan Klein makes an appearance,

not in person, but just the figure.

It's kind of ominously, he's ominously invisible.

You know, we've watched about seven hours of the movie at that point,
