unaware of the body of work of our guest today, Kevin Godley has been weaving his way in and out of all the best parts of Godly and Cream. He's also been the man behind some iconic music

videos for You two, Juran, Juran, Frankie goes to Hollywood, as well as up-and-comers, George Harrison,

Paul McCartney, Ringo Star, and together as The Beatles. Amazingly, it has taken until 2020 for

Kevin to release his debut solo album, Muscle Memory, which comes out in December. And currently he's putting it a new track from that every fortnight,

wherever you stream your music.

So 2020 hasn't been all bad if we're getting a new Kevin Godley album.

And perhaps most importantly, Kevin is a drummer, and we love drummers because they're just the best people.

Yeah, there are so many drummer jokes that have the opposite opinion.

Whenever we meet somebody new, we're always interested in, you know, their first exposure

to the Beatles.

And you were born probably at exactly the right time to experience them,

I'm guessing, near the start.

Yeah.

Excuse me.

I mean, it affected everybody that I hung out with the Manchester, teenagers.

And it's really difficult to pin down exactly why.

Because pop music, excuse me, I'm got to have a sweet water while we're talking.

Pop music, per se, I've been around for a long time already.

It was something, I have a theory about them.
