Good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study on Thursday nights we're going through the Bible and we're currently in the book of Isaiah and tonight Lord willing we are going to complete two chapters, chapter 54 and 55.

And again I know I say this every week. I hope you don't tire me saying this every week, but really, really looking forward.

Really, really looking forward to what the Lord has for us in these chapters tonight, as

There's so much here, and some of which will be very familiar, I'm sure, to most so excited in anticipation with what the Lord's

We'll begin with a word of prayer. We'll just ask God to bless our Bible study. Father

in heaven, we're just so grateful to you for this midweek Bible study

that we have and just this time that we have to be able to come together and assemble

ourselves together. And for those that are here and those that are watching online, Lord, we're just posturing

ourselves before you tonight as a needy people.

And as we're going to see tonight here in Isaiah, we are a thirsty people, a hungry people,

knowing that only you can satiate that thirst and that hunger

that we have in our lives, in our souls.

And so Lord, we readily admit it to you and we come to you and we humble ourselves before

you. Lord, tonight we want to be teachable as your

Holy Spirit is our teacher and our guide. We desperately, Lord, desperately need for you

to speak into our lives, in and through your word. That word fitly spoken as only you can in that still

small voice of the Holy Spirit.
