1:14.5	Having served almost 17 years as an AUSA in the Southern District of New York under six
1:20.7	different attorneys general, from John Ashcroft to Jeff Sessions, I can tell you that

1:29.3	brings a certain amount of anxiety in the ranks of DOJ around the country. What kind of boss will
1:35.8	the new AG and incoming U.S. attorney be? What will be the areas of prosecutorial emphasis
1:41.7	and how will they impact my cases and workload.
1:45.5	This is all par for the course, and more times than I can count, I've assured young new
1:50.3	attorneys not to worry. People and priorities change, but institutions hold, and the overall
1:56.9	mission to serve justice, to do the right thing in the right way for the right reasons,
2:02.6	as a certain U.S. Attorney Barrara often told us, will continue. This time around, though,
2:09.4	feels different. Were I still a supervisor in SDMI for the first time, I am not sure I could
2:16.5	say the same thing to the ranks.
