Hello, my friends. Welcome back, Kerry Green here, time for our morning mindset today on

this day. Let's not think about tomorrow. Let's not think too far into the future. Let's

just get our minds aligned with the truth of God for today, because we have things ahead

that we know nothing about. We have challenges. We have encounters with people who need

the love and the light of Jesus Christ, and you and I are placed on this planet, capped

on this planet, to be that light for them. Let's get our minds aligned with God's truth

so that we can accurately and faithfully represent Him in those encounters. Today, before we

get started, I want to remind you about our non-profit, not a needy person. It's one

of the ways that we've made available for people to shed the light of Jesus in the lives

of others. You see, people come there and they make their needs known. Someone on our

team vets those needs to make sure they're legitimate. And then we place them on the

website for you to consider prayerfully if God would have you help meet those needs.

Okay, today we are coming right to the end of the sermon on the Mount. I can't believe

it's gone this quickly. We are in Matthew chapter 7, verses 21 through 23. In Jesus,

in the last episode we covered this, he just gave us some information about how to identify

a false prophet or a false teacher. And he says, one of the ways you should go about

assessing is whether or not the fruit of their ministry, the fruit of their lives and

their teaching is consistent and is good. So today, when we get to Matthew 7, 21 through

23, we're going to see something that sounds on the surface like it's a little bit contrary

to what Jesus just said. But we have to remember it's the same person saying both things
